Family account and managing several library cards
It is possible to attach several library cards in one online profile to administer them all and renew all loans via a single log in. It makes it easier to follow e.g. your children’s loans and their due dates.
To employ this you have to know both the library card number and the pin code of the library card(s) to be attached to your own profile. All cards can be given an explicit name.
You can attach other cards to your profile via Library cards tab in Your account menu. You can change names, user names and pin codes at Update card name / Pin code. A library card is removed from a profile by choosing Disconnect library card from my profile.
Do remember that a guardian has to remove from her/his profile the cards belonging to her/his dependants at the latest when they turn 15.
If a pin code of a child is changed the link between library cards breaks automatically. The cards have to be reattached with the help of the new pin code.
Virtual library card
If you have left your library card behind you can use a virtual library card on your mobile phone, if only you remember your username and pin code. The library card bar code can be found in Library cards tab in Your account menu.
